About Golden Magnolia

Meet Lauren, the owner and face behind Golden Magnolia. Although established in 2020 after the start of the pandemic, it really started several years before that as a pottery class in her junior year of college. She studied under her professor Allen Chen for several semesters, even winning a grant to conduct her own pottery research by building a gas kiln. After graduating, she went on to start her own small batch studio, working out of a small room in the back of her parent’s house. 

 

Currently, Lauren works full-time as a tattoo artist in New Orleans while she continues making small batch ceramics as a hobby.
